Further activities of the Kapucín group of companies
The Kapucín group of companies, apart from its commercial activities, also actively participates in other areas of public life, culture and sport. The firm Kapucín, s.r.o., in the person of Ing. Milan ©»astný, took part in the creation of a unique model of the Jewish part of the town of Třebíč, as it appeared in 1850. The model is the property of the Kapucín companies and is currently on loan to the Cultural, Educational and Information Centre in Třebíč and is accessible to a wide public in the Rear Synagogue.
The Kapucín group of companies has been a partner in the Zámostí festival from its inception, which is from 1997. It is one of the most significant festivals in the Czech Republic, and the only one of its type and scale in southern and western Moravia. The festival, with an attendance of around ten thousand visitors annually, is used by the firm to present itself.
This event, aimed at lovers of motorcycles, but also at the wider public, is used by the firms in the Kapucín group to promote its products and activities. A great response greets, above all, the annual stunt exhibition in Charles’ Square in Třebíč.
The Kapucín group of companies of course also supports activities for the development of the youngest inhabitants. We place great emphasis on support for quality programmes, raising the physical attributes and the awareness of children and young people.
A long-term partner in the area of sport, the Kapucín group of companies helps in the development and presentation of ice hockey in Třebíč, as the largest sports section involved in the training of children and young people.
The Kapucín group of companies has supported the port of the Yellow Submarine scout troop for a long time. No small part of the workers from our company grew up with the help of the water scouts, including our children. The water scout troop also helps in the organization of the Zámostí summer cultural festival in Třebíč.

For ten years now, the firm Kapucín - Realizace staveb, s.r.o. has been involved in the construction of menorah candelabra for the Chanukah festival of light in Palach Square in Prague for Chabad Prague.
Chanukah is the festival of light. It is a reminder of a miraculous victory and a small jug with its daily dose of oil which, despite the laws of nature, was enough to keep the light of the menorah alive for a whole eight days: Chanukah lights are a yearly confirmation of the fact that if we lead our lives with a moral code and the laws of God, the lights will not only illuminate our homes, but – as our wise men teach us – will also illuminate the space outside our doors, and that even in the darkest days when it seems that all life-giving rays have disappeared from the world and that “the sun has set forever”.
